Run and Fight another Day
Hi, this is my first post - Cool!

Have been playing paintball down at Delta Force and am looking to progress a little more however, being a Pilot in Training takes a certain weight on my budget so I am looking to buy a Marker for Under 50 quid and by looking at reviews have seen the 32 Degrees Icon X. The only downside is that the Barrel ain't too good but seeing as all Spyder barrels fit 32 Degrees I can remedy that.

I don't want to play too regulary, once or twice a month at the moment anyway and I don't like speedball so scenarios type marker are my target. Accuracy is the main thing.

Any thought or better Markers?

Thanks alot :)

Tippmann, what ever you can afford 98 is cheapest then the A5 then the X7 :)
Yeah tippmann is very good, very reliable and are the perfect starter markers. And they have many customization options so you can make it look, feel and shoot how you want once you get some more cash.

There should be a 98C around here somewhere, look around in the for sale section or post a wanted in the wanted section.

Welcome to the forums and welcome to the fabulous sport of paintballing!:D

Yeah there the same thing, though i think the custom is slightly different. But dont know how
There are old versions of tippmann 98's which arnt as nice as the newer models, the newest one is a nicer looking and performing tippmann 98. The newer one is what you was talking about.

Tippmann 98C ATC

It stands for Tippmann 98 Custom with Anti Chop Technology which basically does what it says on the tin. Helps to prevent balls chopping.

There are other options for your price range such as:

Icon Z
Nice little things, Not bad looking and perform as a great starter gun. Not very expensive either

BT-4
basically a tippmann lookalike, but you may as well get a tippmann over this anyway, still looks pretty nice though and performs more or less the same as a 98c.

Viewloader Orion
You can get one of these brand new for around £60, and they have some added extras such as a double trigger and adrop forward

These are probably the best markers for you in your price range.

But in my opinion go the the tippmann 98C ATC, you wont be dissapointed:D
