Its in place becasue if they call game over due to loss of goggles or something of that nature, everyone can sock their gats quickly where they are, squggee will not suffice, an argument thats goes nowhere.

lol... Maybe a few players did leave them, but i forgot to say that dave went to admin after and asked what the official ruling for a barrel sock at the start gate. An if i remember correctly he said its a warning...
Plus... Seeing as i was with dave at the signing of the score sheet... '4-4-1 for leaving A barrel sock at the start gate' nothing about more than one...

The millennium rules say this:
28.05 Players that separate themselves from any piece of equipment or clothing that they brought onto the game field by more than 2 meters, except squeegees or pods used for holding paintballs, will be immediately eliminated.
11.07 During a game barrel socks must be carried by the players and be able to be used at any time required.

I can only see 2 barrel socks being left at the start gate. On whether the ref was right or not I dunno, can't see how many barrel socks were left.

Have you never heard of barrel sock being called battle condoms hmmmm I think reffing the Warped Big Game has had too much of an effect on me.
