Ok well i own a stako and for the sake of it, link me to a place where you can buy a bottle and no reg please. Would like to see these good quality bottles are coming from for under £150

what just for a bottle behave, therre aint F.A wrong with the regs !!!!!!!
Lucky Europe imported them. We and our retailers (as usual) were the cheapest place in the UK to get them and even we charged £130 ish.

You cant separate the regs off the bottles, due to more insane legislation they have to be glued together.

Stako really have dropped the ball here. We know they can produce good quality tanks but these leaking bottles (which I assume were made more recently) may do irreversible damage to their reputation.

Ultimately its up to HPAC to determine whether its just a bad batch. I just hope they dont show any predudice due to the fact that its Polish made, or very light.

i think what lovetone is getting at is not so much boycotting which is 100% choice it is the fact that people can't afford new bottles so they CAN't play the event, not won't. And i'm sure Ian's fully aware of the safety implications but is just commenting on the other side of the coin i.e. the impact it has on players.

p.s. Frank, if you're looking for a bottle of similar calibre to a Stako e.g. the Dye Throttle or the Empire Fuel then yes upto £150 and beyond is about right
thankfully someone can see outside the box, thanks Stevie.

You have no understanding of the subtleties of language. You are unable to read sarcasm in text.

Also, one of my pet peeves is someone demanding people quiten their anger.
Well, no I won't, so **** off back to laa laa land where everything is well and good with your reams of cash to buy whatever excess equipment you deem necessary whenever you are told to.

Wouldnt you agree that expecting any legitimate business to allow the use of a peice of equipment which is deemed unsafe by the leading body in that field, based on a few people threatening not to attend also qualifies as laa laa land.

I mean try explaining that to an insurance company, you may find your premiums go up significantly.

Anger's all well and good, but it's misdirected. Vent your anger at the company that made a defective product, not at the people who are taking steps to protect your safety.
