Ego's just seem a little more refined than Eteks in turms of the way it cycles.

If you like a microswitch then get a Tadao and stick it in an 05 / 06 Ego

wtf you on about? the internals are identical minus the qevs, and my etek when i had it shot smoother than most 05 and 06 egos

i think because of the lack of QEV and simpler operating system, it may not be as consistent and suffer more shot drop off at high rates of fire due to a reduced air flow.
purely my speculation though.

No seriously mate, ETEK are great guns. Had mine no hcnages and it fired 279 straight out the box. And fire perfect.

I prefer it to the egos

the solenoid in the eteks can operate at much lower dwell settings.
at the time of testing robert p. had one in his sl66 and was enjoying the benefits. so no, that wont impact on performance.

how can you say "better cycling" really? care to explain?
no doubt the etek you shot wasnt tuned at all perhaps.
