ETEK's?

Hey guys,

just wondering. What is the REAL difference between ETEK's and EGO's.

I am looking at ETEK's and at first hand they seem pretty good, but I am just wondering if it is better to get an older EGO or whatever.

egos have qev's and optical trigger, whereas eteks have no qev and microswitch trigger. ego7 has both opti and microswitch

eteks use coloured lights to display modes etc

Ego's just seem a little more refined than Eteks in turms of the way it cycles.

If you like a microswitch then get a Tadao and stick it in an 05 / 06 Ego

you will only see by shooting them both, toddle down to the NQ.

the Ego's were never designed to be compared to the Etek's, but by the looks of it, some people prefer one over the other, whichever way round it may be.

i would suggest the 05 ego, simply due to the part quality, and years of perfection and testing.

i think because of the lack of QEV and simpler operating system, it may not be as consistent and suffer more shot drop off at high rates of fire due to a reduced air flow.
purely my speculation though.
