There have been a few instances of the valve stems breaking away from the valve face with a ti rammer installed.

It also depends as to the quality of the metal as to whether it stays in one piece.

They do however greatly reduce the kick on the ego.

Tried one out, it did reduce kick as they are supposed to. Properly setup though an ego doesn't have much kick anyway so I sold it and kept stock, i'd say there more of another shiney piece of kit rather than a needed upgrade.

Your choice though, if you want less kick its not a bad idea but stock parts work great so why change it.
