Background, over the last 6 months i've been trying to find a decent set of playing pants, I'm not being to picky i just don't want to end up looking like these two fellows:

RS586~MC-Hammer-Rolling-Stone-no-586-September-1990-Posters.jpginthepast_model1.jpg

The trouble is to get a decent leg length (i.e. 34 inch), playing trousers either seem to have a huge waist size so I end up with playing pants liking like Nazi officer trousers (pic 2) or the crotch is around my knees. That is all well and good to look 'down with the kids' but pretty useless for comfort and cool. As soon as you run as they ride up your leg.

So, does anyone know were I can get a pair of decent tourney trousers with a 32-34 max waist and a 34 leg, wanting some spare room but not to look like our friend MC Hammer.

I've tried:
JT's pretty good, not a big fan of the padding however.
Eclipse Destructors, high waist to leg ratio (L= 36 waist and 32 leg :()
06 Evil - Decent waist size = poor leg size
06 Airtimes - Same as above (the 07s look better though)
SP defenders, good leg lenght on the L but comedy low crotch.

Was thinking of either going back to JTs or tying draxXxus, Proto/Dye.

What do you guys think, anyone found the holy grain of playing tweeds, ones that fit? Have draxXxus or Dye done what only JT seem to done so far and made them in normal rather than clown sizes?

Opinions and ideas please guys.

i require a 34leg and 34waist. currently wearing xl sp defenders and they look ok. need a belt tho :X had a pair of large dye c6's but coulda done really with xl. nice pants tho. well made and roomy. dye is a good bet... i agree that most pants seem to be made with massive waist and quite short leg. the velcro tabs are good to a certain extent but perhaps a sizing system as done with jeans and trousers. 34long pls.

Try Redz, Their pants have one waist size but come in different leg lengths (34 is one of them from memory)

Might be just what you need.

6'5" wearing XXL proto 07's, good fit, but leg length is always a problem for us long levers. I think sometimes you just have to wear em low to get the length.
