Rodbaston was great until they decided to charge for everything they did as an extra.
ie, if we needed the tractor for something the minimum charge was £30.00 even if it was five minutes and they was on-site.
We was not allowed to use telegraph poles so we had to use scaffolding.
There are a lot of reasons that ultimately made us chose to leave but for me the straw that broke the camels back was when they sprayed silage on the playing fields.
They actually contacted myself last year to talk about paintball and nothing had changed.
I thought it was a great position geographically but laking in other respects

there is a great field in burntwood you could probably get 6 x 7man fields on it, i dont know if it would be available to use, i couldnt see any harm in asking the question if the interest was there ?
Build it and they will come.

Love it how you midlanders hate each other, when it was at Rodbasten the East complained now its at Ancaster the West complain. From where I live travelling time to both is 90 min approx

lincoln is a nightmare to get to from the south roads are awful and if anything is north not in the middle
Lincoln is a nightmare from the east anglia, get it right.
It's one very sensible road from the A1 or the M1
And its only 20 miles north of Ancaster
