i buy a ion but i don't have the hopper.what is the best hopper??
If your going to play tournament
Halo B
Reloader B
Pulse
Velocity
If your playing woodlands
Egg

The tourney hoppers achieve a high feed rate of around 17-18bps minimum, so they will feed a ramping gun at 15bps without problems.
Despite what the advertising will have you believe the egg will not feed "consistantly" above 11-12bps unless you drop in a Z-board, then only maybe?
But by the time you've done that you've spent the price of a 2nd hand halo.
It depends on your budget:cool:

Fair comments then,

Yes it does all depend on you budget as you said. If you not tight on cash then get a Halo, Pulse, Reloader B.

If not, Get a Empire reloader 2, Viewloader Revolution or a egg if you dont mind it being slightly back heavy

That doesnt make sense. You cant get a Halo B or Pulse for under £60 and if you do your very lucky ( like me ) and a egg is not reliable and is back heavy so its not really reccomended. A revolution hopper is perfect for a starter hopper and some pro's use them as they feed fast enough.

Mate when you get going you do talk some garbage, eggs are relaible as any other hopper on the market and they hold 200 balls as opposed to the 160 ish for the halo and can feed at an ideal rate for the ion, as for it being back heavy - you must have arms like string, I run an ion with a 1.1 fibre bottle and angel air reg and a z-board egg, feels fine to me.

In response to the chap who was asking for advice and whats best:

if you're on a budget - get an egg for £15 - £20 you cannot buy better for this money and there are typically 2 or 3 up for sale on the forums, if money is less of an issue go for a used halo or reloader B they come in around £60 equally there are usually a couple up for grabs, if you're really flush get a pulse for close to £100 as you'll probably have to buy this new.

Sounds about right, I wouldn't go for a revy, especially seeing as you can get an egg for around the same price. I've seen a couple of pulses come up second hand (bought one myself for £70) so if you find one they're well worth the buy.
