hi okay ive disassembled my gun all the way down to the bolts...

now all i need to know is what type of grease to use?

I have special lubrication stuff that was bought for lubing o-rings on co2 canisters etc...

can i use this instead of grease? or can i use vaseline?

I dont have any grease grease...

Mooching round the 50, with the flag
Dow33 or shocker lube only, anything else and you're taking a chance with your o-rings then it's leak city....

For instance I use tri-flow on my automag (old mechanical marker) and it runs a treat but I wouldn't even dream of using it on my Ions or angel as it could rot the o-rings.

Bascially any mineral based oil / grease is a no-no and I'd give the vaseline a miss too.

If your marker was new didn't you get a little tube of grease with it?

You can air up the ion whilst the grip frame is off, with all hoses etc connected, this is a good way to help find the source of a leak. Just listen to it when the air is connected...
