hi all,

I got as far as taking the screws out and then when i took the top off loads of hoses and stuff inside connected to eachother :S :s confusing so i thought I might take it to a shop to get them to fix it lol...

I had a look inside and everything looked okay but I dont no what to be looking for... i tried to plug all the cables in tighter but was quite difficult as everything was so closely attached... i dont have any spare things other than the hoses so if it was a banjo (isnt that a drum?) I wouldnt be able to replace it... :(

Im just scared and confused right now lol ::eek:

you're havin' a giraffe if you think you can run a completely stock ion on a dwell of 20.
A setting of 40 to 50 is normal for stock, out of the box it's set to 52, running a dwell of 13 even with your upgrades is still pretty low, if you have a bareel leak I'd take the dwell up a few clicks.

Can seem a bit daunting at first but I can strip my ion down in a few minutes now, just make sure the hoses are all connected firmly, all banjos tightened down (not too tight).

Bottom out the dwell to 0 then take it up a few clicks at a time, you may need to go as high as 50

the banjos have an allen key fitting in the top, read t'manual or maybe check out the uber tech sticky at the top of the techroom for more info.
ahh okay I looked in the manual but it looked to me like the banjos were the little grey things that held the tubes in.. i wil try tightening them now

thanks.
p.s. how tight shd they be?
