air bottle repair!!!!!!

the valve pin in my 4500 bottle has just started to leak , only ever so slowly the pin looks like its not seated in the centre, would it be safe to take apart and have a look ?, or would it be safer to have somone in the know sort it out?, or should i just leave it as once its on the gun its not a problem anyway. regards stu.

i have same problem on my LP bottle (crossfire reg) any ideas how to sort?

on both regs there is a seal around the pin which will need to be replaced, unfortunately the crossfire one is hard to get hold of.

i think its a pmi air system

The seal for the pmi is an 006/90, but i recommend you get it fitted correctly.

Is it???? Air itself is not dangerous otherwise the atmosphere would come with a warning sticker Also wrong thread I know but any more info on the whole bottle testing issue Tom
