Do shops let you try before you buy?

dont think so or at least the ones ive heard off.

the mini is a marmite gun you love it or you hate it. The PMR is a more user friendly gun for everyone. then again you could always get a 05 if you wanted. but it most probs would have been very well used before and he warrantly would have gone. I think your best bet is the pmr but you should always try before you buy.

The mini after it has been broken in can be extremely gentle on paint. I have had cold Marbeliser running hrough it with no trouble at all.

After you have got used to the different feel of the mini it can be amazing.

Give it a try and see what you think.

i own both

i would say all in all go for the PMR for the main reason there is always a dye / proto stand at events so you can get it fixed

The PMR is LP or HP it can use both. And the PMR is very easy to mantain, especially the bolt and the manifold once you know how to do it (which isnt hard). Just unscrew the back cap and the whole bolt slides out, unscrew few screws, lube it up put back in etc.... you get the point.

They are great guns all round really. And theres even a secret mode on the stock board. Just pull the trigger a fourth time when selecting modes and you will have NXL uncapped auto!! The board has all you need: Semi, PSP , Mili and the secret NXL

If ya have two get just them two then a pmr but get an etek if ya can.

dont know how true this is...

but i recently heard of a team switching to minis and 5 of the 7 went down, first time out. By the way I have a pmr and its great ... get a new back cap if no one has already mentioned it

Yer iam gonna get a PMR then, they look cool and have a couple of firing modes.
