Egg 3 problem

Ok, so i've bought a new Egg 3, but when i turn it on, the rotor turns very slowly sometimes not at all, and then stops. I've tried turning the speed up, with and without paint, making sure the eyes register the paint (which they do, because the buzzing stops when a ball falls through).

Anyone offer advice on this?

I think it might be an electrical issue, but not really sure

Tried new batteries mate?

Strip it down check all the wires for pinches, wear etc.

Then change the batteries.

Yeah try them,use good 'ens,Duracell etc.
