Yeah they are. Hybrids are no tougher than stock shells, these things are much stronger.
For starters the actual feedneck area on the Cranium shells is 1 moulded piece, making it much stronger than others which separate down the centre.

also, the fact these things come apart so you can totally remove the internals, with 3 screws, makes them brilliant for quick cleaning, maintainence... etc
