Nah you can take the spring out, its dosnt affect it. Or at least it didnt mine.

You dont need the spring, it was just used on the older bolts to get better efficiency, on the newer version (V3) that is acheived in a different way..

If its an older version Stage 1, the spring helps efficiency. Thats about it.

Now how do i tune it in properly?

Not much to it really.


Set the dwell according to your setup.
So with a QEV around 12ms, without around 40ms.


Then Chrono.
