I have a rail which has a small drop, one of the eclipse ones, that helps abit, but it doesnt make much difference to my gun

this months pgi...ollie langs dm7 has a drop...therefore all of the nation will have tham because its "agg".personally i see no advantage what so ever..it makes my setup awkward to use
I assume your talking about the splash anno Dm being used by Billy Wing ....and he's more old school than Afro's .....

Also people keep banging on about that height rubbish, unless your playing like a numpty, you sight the gun at eye level like usual and position the bottle lower into your body, doesn't add any extra height at all.
Ok then, now explain what you do with your elbow....

And also how on earth the setup is going to be quickly manoeuvrable without throwing you off balance.

I think the invert mini is a good example, i've heard bigger players being put off because you can't have a drop or rail to suit yourself.
I dont think theres many people out there would would want to drop their bottle forwards on a mini; its already an incredibly short set up. I personally like mine set up short (as standard) but a few people on the team have been lengthening their set ups to. I think it would be difficult to use a setup any shorter than a mini effectively; although obviously it depends on the length of your arms and style of play etc, i prefer to have a tight set up personally.
