No goggle modification is allowed by any rule set in use in the UK(or the Millennium series, PSP and NPPL)
Sod all to do with any organiser caring about your welfare it is one of the criteria demanded by the insurance companies.

Those are (in the case of JT) JT authorised parts designed for those goggles. Taking a stanly knife to them isn'tso technically changing the lens renders your goggles useless???
and changing the strap???
