slightly confused

does paypal take the money out of the paypal account straight away, or does it take a few days to come out...

the reason being, i have payed a cheque into my account today, and need to buy some things via paypoo.

does it put a hold on the cash, and will payments go through fine even tho there isnt enough to pay 100%??

paypal works as a direct debit, not like a visa transaction and will not take the money straight out of your current account. Paypal for me normally takes a couple of days to take the money out after i have purchased. Depending on your bank/building Soc cheque clearing days i would be carefull as an unpaid direct debit fee can reach in excess of 30 pounds.

From experience i think it takes a few days to actually come out of your account meanwhile they recieve the money instantly.

It took about 3-4 days to come out of my account

I bank with Lloyds and it takes 3 working days.

Means I can purchase from Paypal stores 3 days before payday

as soon as you send money it will be taken out of your account. it will be taken out like a card payment. so it may not show up for a few days
