I haven't used the Oxyride model, but I bought some 'Special Power' Panasonic batteries. Got to a tourney, whacked one in my marker and it didn't have enough power to fire a single shot! Brand new out of the box.

Go for Procells, the safe and reliable option ;)

From the review they look pretty damned good. If you try some let us know, unless someone else posts up of course. :)

for all paintball kit Duracell duracell duracell !!

nothin else has the juice that the duracell lets loose:D

Seriously though guys almost any other pp3 9v battery when you put a meter across the terminals you only get about 7 -8v in some cases less.

so its up to you pay a little extra for a battery or crash and burn half way through a game because your hopper or gun runs out o juice which will actually cost you more when you consider how much the tournement cost you for the sake of a decent battery

I've got some coming, will take a look and let you know.

I on't know if a hopper classes as a "high drain" kinda device in battery terms.
Hopper is definatly a high drain device.

Tried soma standard panasonic 9v pp3's in a vlocity last year and the low battery light came straight on, hope these prove to be better ;)

Had the same problem in my Halo. Low battery light flickered as soon as I started to fire.
