Solid colour refers to not being patterned - i.e. Camo. Translucent colours are permitted, but transparent (clear) is not.

Do you get many calls going "on his hopper judge get him out there!" cause that sticker looks alot like a paintball mark

The Millenium refs can be a bit over-zealous with regards to stickers on hoppers.
I remember when i was playing in Germany, and it was the last game of the day (we'd played on that field earlier that day also..)..and the halo i had bought from sp had the sp cross hair, in silver on the lid. Team done chant etc..then just before game starts ref decides the sticker needs to come off! he then stood there with a scraper taking the sticker off my hopper lid!

They done that to us at Campaign, NEC.
