What chip ae you going to run with it?
The instalation is pretty simple, if you already have the chip pre-installed:
You put the board into the gun, screw the xcrews in, connect the wires and voila...
If you need to install the chip first, make sure that you know what you're doing.
On the chip there's a u-dent. You'll find a similar u-dent on the chip socket. The chip has to be put into the socket so that both dents are in line.
If you're using any other chip than the Spitfire Un1chip to go with the board, the effect will be you having two holes on the other side of the socket free. In case of the Spitfire chip all holes will be covered (the un1chip has 20 prongs as opposed to 18 prongs on the DM4/5/C chips).
Once you make sure that all prongs on the chip are in the right holes on the socket push the chip all the way down to ensure a good connection with the board - VOILA.
Be careful about which way you put the chip in - If you put it the wrong way and connect the battery the board will most likely drain the battery and heat up immediately which can potentially damage either the chip or the board. In case that happens - disconnect the battery, correct the placement of the chip and wait a couple minutes before connecting the battery again.
