so that kind threw me beacuse there are more working bits other than that

taking it swimming with you works MUCH, better, the clorine frazzles all of the paint from the parts you can't get, but if you can't get to a swimming pool. you shower should work just fine...

nah **** it ..try it ,I don't remember anywhere in the Eclipse manual thats says specifically Not to take it into the shower...
