i tried this with my old pc - took it for a fast ride over lots of bumps in a car, worked fine for about a week, then it gave in again. i tried everything to get it started again, i dropped it, kicked it, rammed it. it never worked again.

thats intresting, as im getting some strange volume jumps now and again, how do you do it? just prize the metal away from the whie bit? or is there some sort of catch?
I bought a 30G Video Ipod... Had it for about 2months and it randomly stopped working... luckily enough managed to exchange it on the insurance, got a new one..... 3months later..... broke again 
So again replaced it on the insurance.... Had this one for about 4 months and guess what....... Its fooked!! (An before any FOOL says anything.... NO there all mechanical faults apparently) So the moral of the story is............. Ipods offically suck, so just get insurance

the iPod just slowed down the bullet enough to not pierce the kevlar body armour. (not actually stop it)
Yeah those are ace, i would recomend the new iriver u10 mp3/4/radio/flash game player. Very good quality.
