Don't take hotels in Koblenz. It's about 1 Hour ride by car.
Mayen it's about half an hour away.
But around the Nürgburgring should be more than enough smaller houses with rooms...no big hotels. It's a "famous" vacation area.

Ah well... Thanks anyway, but wont work since the 2 of us in need of a lift to Dusseldorf are flying back monday evening - I had dear Alex checking around if any of the guys on your team is driving back on monday.... Let's see if it works out!
