well im tall and thin and dont have much muscle on me.

I'm 6ft tall and pretty lean. I've used both Medium and Large pads. Large pads tend to have a little more space in them. Depends if you don't mind a little space, or want them on tight.

I have medium and large pads for sale...

Friswell - Width, would take 30-40cm around the middle part with some room on either side of that.
