Having just sold my spare EGO I feel compeled to comment on the market situation.
I advertised it at what I thought was a reasonable price considering condition.
I had quite a few offers (10+) varying from £200-postage fees upto the full asking price dependant on dibs, waiting etc.
I don't like dibs and prefer to sell to the buyer with the funds wether it be paypal, cash, transfer, cheque, etc, etc.
Some offers expressing that they couldn't go above a certain amount, not really my problem and I wasn't desperate for the money.
It finally came down to 3 "competitors" and the first one to pay got it,I know another one was very keen unfortunately his method of payment didn't appeal to me when compared,I apologise to him and did so in pm form.
No-one will be able to use this as a benchmark for purchasing an EGO cheap I did get the full asking price including the fees;thus hopefully retaining a buyoant price structure for the EGO.
Just my opinion--->I may be talking crap:eek:

Bournemouth.
It's heartbreaking to see your £800 investment sell for peanuts because of the current state of the 2nd hand market.

A lot of the problem also come from 'Sponsored' teams selling last years models off dirt cheap because they paid very little for them in the first place.

Quality quote mate!;) Makes me laugh even more knowing what you are like.

You cannot stop depreciation, but the manufacturers are just as much to blame for flooding the market with a new 'design revision' every year and as many private label examples as you can possibly think up. (I mean look at the DM7 compared to DM6. Its like playing a really hard game of spot the difference!)

Dont get me wrong, if I owned a company like Dye / Eclipse / WDP I would be doing the same thing. Its business:)
