As an engineer and an angel tech, i've used just about every type of allen key. Trust me this is somewhere you don't want to skimp on price. My eklind metric keys 247-9997 are as good as new, with all edges still as sharp and true, and have always served me well.

I'm an Engineer and never had any problems with Draper or any other decent tool manufacturer.
Problems arise when peeps use the incorrect size,i.e,1/4" in a 6mm etc

you can buy the keys singly, rather than buying the whole set.

You can save by not buying the 5/32" as 4 mm is the same, and 8mm is 5/16", or vice versa. And you don't need the larger keys, although the 10mm is usefull on the newer angels.

Speaking as a REAL engineer, i'm with Tom on this one, you get what you pay for! Draper and the likes are ok for playing around with your marker or a washing machine once in a while, but if you strip stuff regularly then invest in something decent. I've snapped or rounded so many Draper style allen keys in my time that i've lost count........and yes i was using the right size
They cost more than most would spend but i've had sets like these for over 10 years now and they are all still good

I once broke an Allen key.

UnBrako...quite good apparently.

Undoing a bolt on a brake caliper...practically allowed me to lift the car up before it went though!

Wrong,i've have Snap-On tools and price doesn't always reflect quality.I've had Snap-On tools break on me and then gone to use,say,a Sykes Picavant tool for the same job and it's done it admirably.

I guess your one those who's spent ££££ on tools and your trying to justify your outlay by saying it's quality when 'lesser' brands would do the same job just as well for less money.
