In regards to 'UKM 2007 Info Thread'

Ok apart from classing moving fingers fast as a skill, would you like to ellaborate.

Off topic but people can pull the trigger less times than yourself in 'semi' per second but I guarantee their ROF over yours will be higher.
1. Running and gunning is one thing. Doing it while maintaining a good rof in semi is another.

2. What are you talking about?

I think what he means is there are varying degrees of semi.

You can have one shot one pull semi like on an Angel LCD or a tippy.

Then you have stock board 'semi'.

Above that you have upgrade board 'semi'.

Then theres about 5 levels above that which im not even going to go into

And none of the latter ones have much bearing on how fast you can pull the trigger.

1) And the argument for levelling the playing field isn't valid, the playing field isn't level even with ramping.

2) People have different fitness levels, different sizes, can run faster/slower, so why should how fast you can fire be level? I see it more as a disadvantage to a player who has trained to fire at a constant high rof than anything else.
1) It is a lot level when it comes down to fair play (well lack off it). In terms of technique then I agree.

2) I class fast sprinting and good balance as skills that should be better rewarded than bouncy triggers and the ability not to bump up. Plus Rich Telford / Rocky Knuth do not look the fastest of guys either but they cope more than fine.

1 - True. But your skill still stands at moving your fingers fast. What your trying to say is being accurate and running a gunning with true semi is a skill. Also true... But shots coming out of your barrel wont be as accurate as the guy stood still all game who cant run and gun. So the advantage of you taking any initiative and trying to run and gun yourself into a secondary or wide position can easily be countered by someone who is prepared to sit back.

I mean 'legal' semi John. What you can get away with as legal is another matter.

But statisticly for a whole 5/7 man team trigger speed, (regardless of running / standing) would be relavent?
