What it is like to be banned

Dear fellow forum members,

Last week I recieved my first ban for posting a non paintball related subject. It was a three day ban by the forum police, which to be honest was fair given the non-paintball related topic that I chose to post about.

Having seen the desperation of Sabot today after his sentence made me think how bad I felt when I could not add to a post to a thread. Several times I clicked on a picture or 'post reply' only to have the particulars of my crime displayed in front of me. Coupled with the lack of pm ability I was frustrated to say the least.

Paintballninja decided to do a similar thing to me today and also managed to grab a small ban for his troubles.

Moral 1 - You will regret a ban if you are a frequent poster / viewer.

Moral 2 - You will kick yourself when you have a good contribution / solution to a problem and you cannot post due to your sentence.

Moral 3 - Dont do the crime if you can't do the time:)

i think on recieving a ban - the only thing you should be allowed to see are the forum rules - i was confused about why i got banned - now after reading the rules i know it was for posting stuff not relevant to the sale in a classifieds ad.

I imagine that getting banned from here would be like the episode of the Simpsons when they take all the violence out of Itchy and Scratchy..I'd go blinking into the sunlight outside and play on the swings or summat...

Bans were better when they were dished out at random.

If only Lord Piper was about more often. Unfortunately ever since trying out for a dancers part in the remake of 2 Live Crew's "Pop that Couchie" video he's had to keep a low profile.

LMFAO

David, you are, without doubt, possibly the biggest tw@t on the net for posting that.

I'll go check the classifieds now and see if anyone has a life they can sell you.
