I'd argue that both have performance upgrades, e.g. twister feedneck means easier hopper exchange, expansion chamber means no liquid CO2
are you joking pal, it has a new bolt, new barrel, new spring set, and a new reg, how do they not improve performance.

That's a new cocking rod and an expansion chamber. I'm just saying that if you say a twister feedneck, new trigger, a drop forward and an on&off aren't performance upgrades, your's aren't.

and i know nothing about tippmanns, or CO2 markers for that, (i have an ion, and i know how that works), so i didnt know it was an expansion chamber, but as it is where the reg should be, isnt it a reg as well?

a reg actualy changes the pressure of the gas going into the marker, whereas the expansion chamber just provides a space to allow CO2 to turn fully into gas rather than staying liquid before entering the gun.
That doesn't mean it's not a performance upgrade.If you're using CO2 on that 98, and expansion chamber will stop you firing liquid, which means your more likely to be firing more gas, which means your paint goes in the right direction, faster.
Either way you look at it, this arguemnet is stupid, because it's not getting this marker sold.
