Hi,

Been on the forum and posting for a few days, but note that although my current posts total 9 the actual total only shows 2. Do posts on some areas of the forum not count towards your total, or is there something wrong with my account settings?

Hoping to sell a few bit's at some stage so want to build up a healthy post count and feedback rating ASAP

Thanks

GT

post's in Classifieds do not count towards your total , the only way to get official feedback is by going Platinum and starting your own thread in the feedback forum ...dont worry about your post count ..worry about your posts ;)

Like Dskize said posts in the selling and buying sections dont count,

Also just becuase you have a high post rate dosent mean people will trust you and the other way around.

Your best bet is to put up your stuff but post a picture with your forum name on a bit of paper next to it, just to prove you have it :)

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice guys - I'll look into the Platinum rating scheme

Been on other forums (non paintball) for years, and buying/selling on ebay for about 4 with around 200 feedback, all 100% positive. But can understand why it would take a while to build up similar trust as a seller here. Had a few idiots mess me around as an ebay seller, so appreciate what a PITA it can be to deal with.

As you say it's quality not quantity that counts where posts are concerned

i just brought a marker off a guy with no posts but he got a friend with 500+ post to vouch for him.. a sent the friend a pm and was happy with the response and and brought the marker with no problems.

if you have an ebay rating and 200 is a good rating ... put that in your post when selling......
a lot of people have ebay accounts and probably could vouch for you if you sent an ebay email from one member to another ...they may not know you personally but can vouch you are an ebay member with an excellent record:)
