Do you guys get paid for it?
basically you get series points for marshalling, pretty much the same as aStill dont see the point in flying all the way ther to ref

1st place.
though if you are **** then you dont get the points or have points deducted,
you dont get paid, but it is also a leg without entry fee and paint which is a lot when you want to play the whole series.
Well Hells Recruits are a team based in the midlands who played the masters series. They decided to give up playing the last couple of masters to go to toulouse instead.I am unfamiliar with Combat and Hells Recruits - can anyone educated me?
Reffing at that level is just as hard as playing, so you get a reward for your efforts, so when you look back you know you deserve it.I get all that but what i dont get is why you would want to get points from reffing
At the end of the series i want to look back and, yeah what an effort, not ahh we did ok glad we reffed that round needed the points
Reffing the first event gives you good points at the start so you will get a better draws(cause of the way milleniums do there draws) for the rest of the season.
This is a great strategy for doing well in events that a lot of teams do not think about.
