Still dont see the point in flying all the way ther to ref
basically you get series points for marshalling, pretty much the same as a
1st place.
though if you are **** then you dont get the points or have points deducted,
you dont get paid, but it is also a leg without entry fee and paint which is a lot when you want to play the whole series.

I get all that but what i dont get is why you would want to get points from reffing

At the end of the series i want to look back and, yeah what an effort, not ahh we did ok glad we reffed that round needed the points

Reffing at that level is just as hard as playing, so you get a reward for your efforts, so when you look back you know you deserve it.

Reffing the first event gives you good points at the start so you will get a better draws(cause of the way milleniums do there draws) for the rest of the season.
This is a great strategy for doing well in events that a lot of teams do not think about.

We dont think about it because we'd rather be seeded on our performance not on wheter we could ref or not
