BEFORE I START THIS IN NOW WAY A DIG AT ANY OF THE UK TEAMS THAT WENT. I HAVE HUGE RESPECT FOR YOU GUYS FOR DOING IT AND CONGRATS TO THE FIRM FOR PLACING THE HIGHEST OUT OF ALL OF THEM.

Ok...

I wanted to discuss the performance of the uk teams out in HB this weekend.

Obviously not getting to see all the games sucked but hey that would be daft to even ask.

Do you not think the results blantanly shine a light on how far the uk teams are behind the yanks?

I think it shows how far the US is in front of us, but on the other hand, they are on home soil and they must have experience on their side.

Either way, the guys did really well and fairplay to them for picking themselves up and going state side. :)

Much respect for them going but i think the same would happen if the yanks came to us

have to completely agree with you mikey
the uk teams that went out there were some of the UK top stuff not being able to do it, i cant see much of the rest of the Uk getting anywhere
personally id have to say its to do with these factors:

-Training Facilities: reball centres???none in the Uk..the US is loaded with them...Indoor sites?? im sure everryone would like to play painhtball indoor at night after work, college, school whatever. this is waht the US have got we havnt.

-Availabilty and Awareness: out of all none ballers in the UK, you could ask 99.9% would not know what sup air/ tourney paintball was and are definelty not likely to have played it. whereas the US its advertised all in papers, TV, magazines, and theyve even got it being broadcasted on TV.

and a controversial one which i dont have a clue about so would be nice to know really..money and sponsership??
whats it like out there??is it pricey to train???cheap paint??easy sponsership??

i mean im sure theres alot more factors that cause the difference between us ..anyone that can add?
