Now that the first free webcast is over...

Your thoughts, good and bad points of the footage - what would you like to see more/less of? Do you think anything should be done differently?

I was really impressed with the whole programme - thou the "field breaks" were a lil annoying. A few cameras focusing on the wrong thing at the wrong time occasionally - but overall fairly decent.

Commentary was good, slightly annoying at times, but was bearable most the time. Could've done with maybe a few more interviews and a few more "down on the field" style bits, instead of them going off about caffeine drinks and other random things...

I think however, a couple of mics on the field would be good - hearing a bit more of whats going on - as well as slightly better quality feed - i.e, when you go full screen it's not jst lots of coloured blob shapes (not sure how realistic it is that this could get changed)

Dynasty got cheated.
The ref's made some bad calls, the Joy game was contraversial, along with many others.
However, that has nothing to do with what you thought of the webcast as a programme - i'm not asking what you thought of the games/players/refs/etc

Over all I think it was good - especially seeing the fact it was totally free!

A cool thing they could add in the future is actually having a quick view of the list of players for the teams just before game on, just like you see in football for instance! Most teams have spare players along for the event, so will probably be impossible to know exactly which ones are fielded, but you will have a clue at least! :)

And yeah - then get commentators that have a clue - that Anna girl obviously had NONE! "I´ve been wondering... Who IS that player who´s always lieing on the field in the middle of everything?" :D

Otherwise - I think Bea Youngs was really good! Did a good job and had a lot of fun "side infos" on most teams and players... And the canadian bloke (Joe/John?) was quite funny!

I liked it, watched most of the weekend (may have meant to do work this weekend meh:rolleyes: ), quality was quite good considering the numbers of people watching it. Commentary was better when there were actual players up there (nickyt, rocky etc) but still pretty good.

Also, i don't know if it was just my computer, but when i enlarged the screen, it seemed to go all fuzzy.
That was annoying - they need better quality feed.

There was another point i was going to make - i can't remember it now...it'll come to me...

Ah yea - a countdown clock on the screen would be good - from when game starts.
Was thinking body-count, but live thts kinda hard to do...but when it's best of 3 games, the score would also be cool - a couple of times i joined in half way through and had no idea (thou i did catch on quick as it's hardly rocket science)
