Is it an 05 manual? As there it shows an origninal 05 bolt with o-rings which needed lubing. I've always thought that the didn't need lubing for 3 reasons.

- Delrins self lubing
- The lube will only collect crap and increase bolt/breach wear
- Lube will get on the detents and increase the liklyhood of a double ball

Personaly i've never lubed a planet bolt and never had a problem.

it was the 06 manual i read it from, ive always put oil on the bolts of all my egos, never had any issues whats so ever, dart, nexus and cure bolts

down to preferences at the end of the day, but if thats what planet recommend in there user manual, then thats what im gona do, the ego is there marker after all

What Nicky T says. Thats only lube on the cure bolt orings for, I think, kila detents.
