right.. now, i havnt been playing paint ball for long and i dont know about you guy's but ever since i have all iv heard from gimps / chavs is "wow paint ball all you do is stand there and get shot every time you go" and they have the cheak to say its NOT a sport:mad::mad: :mad: this gets me so pissed off because this is from people who know nothing about the sport and yet feal it necessary to critisize it :confused: wtf why ??/ maybe if they gave it a chance they would like it, but no they wont even give it that its like what is wrong with these people ??

so what should i do to shut them up bearing in mind most of them are bigger then me :eek::( (but could take them :rolleyes:)

Well when you tell your mates that you play paintball, they automatically think you run in the woods shooting the stag etc. What i normally do is just show them the paintball i play (sup air) and it normally changes their thoughts about paintball.

The problem is, they automatically think of it as woodsballs, which is your greatest downfall (if you play sup air that is).

So yeah, just show them say a video of you, or anything with supair (considering you do play supair) and it should change their thoughts :)

or just set your marker up(on ramping may i add)fill your loader and as soon as they start downtalking paintball, paint them orange :D




please dont do this i only said it for a laff lol

i know i'm going to get abused for saying this, but as i see it, at the level of paintball i play, it's a hobby and not a sport. I say this because i play a couple of conventional sports, however i can see why people can argue for and against it being a sport -

There are about a hundred threads like this in circulation of "is paintball a sport?". An insider's perspective is biassed by being involved with it, an outsider's perspective is biassed by ignorance so i cant see there being any definite line for a while.
