You say the gun stopped firing while you were using it and it wont turn on, right?
Check that teh trigger switch hasnt stuck or something...if it has, it wont fire, nore will you be able to turn it on...I think.

Also the button on the shocker is a bit weird, take the grips off and make sure the wires in there linking the lower board and upper board haven't impeded the movement of the switch.
