this is only a personal opinion, but i wouldnt be best pleased forking out the best part of £800 for a supposed top a the line marker, for the only to be released a few months down the line a "better", more "refined" model.. nothing against Planet... i just wouldnt be happy :(

He's got a point, I wish companies were more like Dye and Proto and released 2 guns every year, a PMsomething and a DMsomething. I know year is different because of the PMR.

why ? just to cater for you and the people who might moan a bit ,what about the other people that like variety ,no-ones forcing you to buy them ,if you dont like dont buy ..geddit.

the more planet bring out guns ,the lower the market is for 2nd hand guns, the lower the market is for 2nd hand guns, the easier they are for new players to own them and shoot a quality marker earlier , stroll on planet .

im getting deja-vu here for the 3rd year running.

WDP did it for years, planet have just taken that crown;)
Which is not a good thing Gassy.

I had the greatest respect for Planet when they first introduced the ego in late 2004. They seemed quite happy to release 1 gun a year with a couple of PL versions to go with it. Now they are 'doing a wdp' and churning out several different models each year. Great for Planets profits, lousy for existing owners that want to sell and upgrade for a reasonable cost.

I still firmly feel that Planet provide the best gats / service.

it was ONLY a opinoin, i would feel badly done by, but doesnt mean i wouldnt buy one, you would still own a top of the line marker.. but obviously planet had all intentions to release the SL74 while making the 07 Ego, so with that in mind, they under designed the 07 Ego... that the only thing i would be "cheated" by, but i would still be very happy to own such a awesome marker.

please dont for one second, think that i wouldnt buy something, just because companys bring out new model's. it happen's in every day life.
