i personally think that more skill is required to play a game of woodsball than a game on a sup air field. in woodsball you have less cover, and it is not always large enough to conceal you, whereas in sup air you have large bunkers that can easily conceal your whole body. woodsball fields are not always symetrical, or even remotely similar at each end, this requires more skill and better tactics to defeat the opposition. there are several other reasons, that im too lazy to list now. what do you think?

Wrong question to ask on a predominantly sup air forum.

Do a search, this has been done to death numerous times.

There are different skills to both, I have played both and enjoyed both (air more when I was fit and a few stone lighter). I think it hurts paintball when one side thinks their side is more skilled than the other. If you like ball and like air .... great if you like woods ...... great like them both and respect them both and promote them both we will have paintball as a sport in this country !

Last woodsball site I went to all the chipboard castles, helicopters, trains and tanks were quite large :D admitedly you do get about 20 goobers behind each item of cover though, so I guess the body mass to cover ratio might not be great.

^its true but mainly with newbies..
in my opinion, i think woodsball is easier to play (not dissing it, or saying its not good, as it is) but thats why you have centres like, Delta force, npf, skirmish, etc.. who mainly cater for woodsball. also you have alot more room/game fields (most of the time)in woodsball, also more time!
if you do know what your doing its alot easier to bunker/flank/mugg someone when you have more room, where as sup'air etc.. if more or less face to face!
so to answer your question (for the average person/newbie) its harder/ requires more skill, to play sup'air, but i think both types are still great!:D

No you have site like that setting up in the woods as it is a pain in the ass to set up air fields every day. To stop them blowing away , keep repairing them etc.

Nothing to do with skill levels.

Both require the same core skill but different skill sets after that.

Sup air is harder i reckon. You can get away being sloppy in the woods (to an extent depending slightly on the opposition), and you cant in sup air.

And if you are on about cover, stop standing in the open or standing behind twigs and find some proper cover :D
