"why does everyone aay flankings good all you need to do to be alright is have the determination of ryan millet the courage of hercules the accuracy of batman lol sorry that just popped out"

Should be:

"Why does everyone say flanking is good? All you need to do to be alright is to have the determination of Ryan Millet, the courage of Hercules and the accuracy of Batman.
Lol, sorry that just popped out."

See, you made about 16+ mistakes.

Help my brain is melting.....

I've just read through this thread, and maybe because I couldn't help myself found some other threads where these guys seem to talk a load of illiterate nonsense to each other, and have to say I am gob-smacked at the apparent lack of intelligence and sense.

Please guys... your sucking my IQ away, can you learn to write properly and start considering the content and relevancy of your posts......

You know who you are......

a lot of these "discussions" would surely be more appropriate on MSN, than simply bumping post counts...

now, back on topic (please!!)

tactics - start with communication. build your team (or even if just woods walkon, the 2 of you) to learn to sign to each other. as i think its been said, look at infantry manuals. use the net, there are standard SOCOM and UK signalling guides online. pick some, make your own, or whatever.

with no communication, there will be no point in trying to maintain tactics. for big scenario games where you get to come back on, try to invest in two-way radios - they'll let you rejoin your buddies on the field.

Hand Signals

I know this may sound a bit basic... but watching films like Black Hawk Down and Saving Ryans Privates can give you basic hand signals for use on the field.

As Rider-in-Black said, best tactics in Woodsball are good use of communication, and keeping these as simple as possible will allow you to communicate with others even if they are not your immediate team mates.

Finger to mouth (or mask) = quiet...
Flat hand being lowered = keep down...
Two fingers to eyes then pointing = look over their..
Chopping hand action in a certain direction = request for covering fire in that direction
Point to gun then finger across throat = marker not working...
Curling up in a ball = oh poop I've been hit in the family jewels again...

Just a few (good) examples I hope....

It's not rocket science, so should work for most, even for the guys that have failed to use the written english language on here...
