Sorry jon owen but i have to post this.

I got my gun back from LiPS about 2 weeks ago, and i've noticed that when they clamped my gun, they left a few dents, now the dent went through to the barrel thread and i've been spending hours trying to knock it back a notch to get my stock barrel in (i've managed to get my stiffi barrel in luckily, so i can use the gun.) on my stock barrel its peeled a bit of the thread, but works in guns with the threads in perfect condition. What can i do? if no-one knows what i can do, i'll give it to Jon at UKM 5man in 2 weeks.
Um, speak to lips about sorting it & take it out of the classified :)

Never had any problems with anything from LiPS, either stuff I've bought or had serviced by them. Give Jon a PM and I'm sure he'll get back to you asap (I think they're open saturday mornings if you need to give them a call).

I agree with the rest of the guys, Lips have outstanding customer care, why did you not approach/phone/e-mail/pm Jon before trying to flame them in public before they have the chance to do what they do best and help you.

LiPs will be able to help you earlier than 2 weeks if you ask ;)

And you thought posting it up on a forum will sort your problem out??

LiPS have been going for a hell of a long time and have been an authorised angel tech for as long as i can remember.

Threads are a funny thing and you hacking about with it may have caused more damage, a fraying thread can cause damage to the opposite thread your trying to force on. Your best bet would of been to rectify to problem at the source, Lips would have assessed the damage, fixed it or if not possible would arrange for a replacement.

You shouting your mouth out on a forum can effect these peoples business.

You'll get no sympathy from me or anyone on this forum that knows how hard LiPS work.
