How to set the breech sensitivity correctly
The breech sensor sensitivity is factory set at 128(50%), which is suitable for the
vast majority of paints. If it is found that the sensor is not detecting a particular
colour of shell then use the following procedure to correctly set the sensitivity.
1. Select the breech sensor reading display.
2. Hold back the bolt and drop a paintball into the breech.
3. If the shell has two colours then rotate the paintball until the darkest colour
is facing the breech sensor.
4. Make a note of the reading on the display.
5. Remove the paintball from the breech.
6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 five times.
7. Take the highest reading of the five and add 10 to that reading to
allow for some margin of error.
8. Change the breech sensitivity value (as explained above) to the value that
you have just derived.
9. Shoot a few strings of paint to test the operation. If the sensor fails to
detect the occasional paintball then the marker will ‘stutter’. Simply increase the sensitivity and try again. Using the
