ego techs??

hey having a few problems with ego (06), mainly having problems with velocity adjustment (it always seems to be high)

just wondered if there was an ego tech out there willing to have a look at it for me, either at the npf sup-air sunday (this sunday) or at the masters 5 man (next sunday)

Sounds like the little plastic insert in the reg piston has come away.

Pull the vertical reg on the marker apart and check if the insert is still attatched to the thin face of the piston.

If this is the case you will need a regulator service kit. I think they are about £30 from Planet.

needent have come away, might jsut be damaged, but check it anyway.

you will need to replace the whole regulator piston, you cant just glue the peice back on

i had the same problem, took it to planet, fixed it within 5mins free of charge!

have looked at the marker - i am indeed missing a small black thingy on the end of the metal piston part that holds the spring stack (i assume this is what you were refering to)

if any1 at lincoln masters has a spare they are willing to sell me that would be awesome as i need to get gun working for a team mate to use

yeh mate - but i figured if i know what part i need i'd try n buy one rather than scrounging round looking for one - unless u meant that u will have one - i assumed u were offering to look at the marker, not supply parts.

yeah i should have said im the production mananger at planet and the rest of the team is made up from members of the production department/techs/anyone else who we can con into turning up.
