Calling all DYE Techies!

Right, i bought a Dye Aiport off lovely Mr Arg. Works fine for the first couple of days, now riddle me this!

As i screw the bottle in the the airport (bearing in mind the valve is unscrewed) the pin hits the bottle and releases the air. Have looked inside the airport and the pin seems to be about 5mm to long. Any help would be much appreciated!

It could be that pin/thumb screw assembly is not screwed together completely, the pin inside the airport will take a 3/16'' socket, so try simply screwing it back together.

After we spoke yesterday I thought that most of the on/off's on the market can be disassembled and rebuilt. Can't think what you might have done to this chap, but certainly keep me informed.

Is there anything on the dye site about a rebuild of the ASA?

Panic over! Gave it a strip and clean, put it back together works fine now yay!

Glad to hear it mate, looks like it might have got a bit of muck inside it, and just needed a cleanup.
