i looked via search button and could'nt find anything about it so what are the main differences between the 05 and 06. also if i bought a stock 05 could it be upgraded fully to an 06 over time?

There is only 2 big differences. The milling and the board. thats pretty much it. i Personally choose the 05 because i liked the milling and then i upgraded it with
a starframe.
so i will say go with what you want.
And before people say this wrong. its the 05 that are lightest with a hole 40gr.

You cant upgrade an 05 Ego to an 06 Ego, any more than you could with an 05 Mondeo. They are just different.
As has been pointed out...milling is one and board is the other
Get an 05 if you like and then pop the 06 Star frame on it...job done.
Yeah...or you could do that...just, if you want some 06 ness, then teh Star frame is the way to go...with an 06 Tadao or Virtue in it!!Or just stick a Tadao in the 05 with 'minimal' debounce and mow faces!
