when the red and green light both flase im sure it means there is a jam in the loader,as you have new batts carnt be that.Try not filling it right to the top with paint.

This is the third walk on day now where its happened, people are getting pissed off with me. I think its the cold too as mine works perfectly at home now with all types of paint.

Thing is it was quite warm up here on sunday.....
Does the paint you are using have a black / dark shell at all?

I used to have big issues with any paint that had a dark shell. (even 2 colour balls) Purely because the halo would try and feed constantly due to the eyes not seeing the dark shell. As a result the battery's would run out after around 10 mins of play.

If that is not the case stick a nice wide fluffy stick up the feedneck of the loader and twist. This will clean off any dirt / paint on the eyes.

the green and red lights flash for a number of reasons - if you have balls in the loader make sure its not overfilled.

but im agreeing on the cold lark mine did this at the weekend - works fine now.

try turning the spinny wheel (not the rip), as sometimes mine can stick when the spring reaches the maximum extension. I have to stick my fingers in and turn the wheel towards the feedneck to get it back, unlikely but worth a try. Jams happen alot if you overfill / pack the paint down and also make sure you turn the Halo on before you put the paint in - or you'll get a jam. Check the eyes by sticking your finger quickly up the feedneck, it should stop spinning immediately, if it doesnt the eys probably need replacing.

Hope this helps.

Do not put too much faith in the regular Duracells...especially in the Cold.
Cold weather depletes a batterys ability to make energy (that is what they do)...in the winter it puts 50% more strain on a car battery to start a car.

Try a Lithium based battery, as stated, for digital cameras and other High Drain products..Energizer Lithium are very good, if not Procells or Ultra M3's.

I have had brand new, basic Duracells fail to run a Halo in the cold.
