Please help decide...

Hi guys,

I want some honest opinions. Im looking at getting a new gun, and im looking at the 06 models. Im trying to decide between an 06 Ego, and a DM6.

I hear the DM6 is a lot more accurate, and they seem really nice to rip.

Althougth I seem to have a preference towards Ego's. I know i should go with what is more comfortable... but I would like some people who have experience with the guns to give me some pro's and con's.

So Ego Vs DM6.... please debate

Neither is more accurate

A well tuned 06 ego will not have much kick regardless what people will say.

Try both and see what you like.

For other info:

Ego: reliable with good eyes, rarely have much going wrong with them. However I found it a bit noisy and never felt 'right' to me, think it was a little long. Good air efficiency though.

DM6: Quieter, as you say they feel great ripping, though they are more tempramental with regards to eyes (need to take them out to clean after a break which is a pain) and the bolt can troublesome with so many o-rings that can go. Not as efficient either.

I've just sold my xsv ego for a DM7.

With regards to taking them apart.. which is easier?

I find the Ego far easier to tech, and shoot but as people have said give them both a try and see which suits you better

They are at times, but can easily get dirty enough not to work. It's the one down side of the DM for me, hence I didn't get one and stuck with my ego at least until the DM7 came out.

Taking apart, both are straightforward enough to be honest.
