Ok so i introduced the idea of having a stock class or pump day in the uk a couple of weeks ago, and had very little response, so i'm to assume that there is very little pump or stock class play in this country (i've only seen pump markers used on christmass pissup paintball days, or by fairly old marshalls)

Would there be any interest in a stock class play at an airball site somewhere, or setting one up on a regular basis? Stock class is dead cheap, and great for improving your overall game, plus it involves more skill (in my opinion) than the majority of paintball (you have a marker that can hit 2bps if you're lucky, so you can't just spray and pray). Post up here, or pm me, i think that we're missing out by not playing enough SC in this country.

EDIT - Reading through the other thread, the following expressed interest
  • Myself
  • Russel Smith
  • Stencil
  • Jahlad
  • Game
  • Exile
  • Game
  • Twizz 69
  • TendringLoeb
  • Furey
  • Mewwy
  • Ollytheosteo
  • Magic Monkey
  • Beaker
  • Andy Dane

    That'd be 15 already!

I have to say, from those already interested, the best place would probably be somewhere in the south, with both sup' air and woodland facilities, all arrows are pointing at somewhere like Campaign Cobham, as i'm sure Niall would be happy to facilitate such an event - i'll call him up if/when we sort out the finer details and such.

This shouldn't be an expensive day, as let's face it, pump markers won't eat their way through half a case in a day.

Gone crazy, back soon...
There's been some talk of doing an old skool Pump day but that was like last october or something.

I know there's a few of us who fall under the "old paintballer" category who remember the "good" ol' days....so it depends on where you intended to host said day of mirth ;)

well if we can find enough intrest, somewhere central in the uk - so i was thinking Brum area - bit of a drive for me, but i don't mind if we'll get a good day out of it, i think we need at least 20 people interested, so i was thinking end of April, start of May sort of time, as my marker is being anno'd in the states at the moment.
If there is more interest in the south than up north, we'll rearange it to be more southernly, and vice versa.

this could be good fun. got a mate who's really into pumps and i enjoy going out every now and then with his phantom, so if this was to go ahead i'm sure you could add another 2 to the list.

I'm in, Norfolk again, and I have a couple of spare pumps to lend. There should be a review of the new Sterling in the next PGI, so anyone interested in getting into pump play should probably buy that issue. In fact, get two and give one to a friend:D
