Don't offer someone advice on a potentially deadly bottle if you have no clue what you are on about.
It's how people start dying and stuff...
i think you caught the wrong end of stick...

either that, or you have stupidly over-reacted to a harmless post, merely answered the question posed to him. :)

The 7500psi disc is to protect the bottle from overfilling.

The 1800psi disc is to protect the marker from the reg going over pressure.

Often these discs wear out and fail for no reason, fast filling is often quoted as the cause, and it's usually the 1800psi disc that fails.
Tom, if an 1,800 psi disc repeatedly fails on a system, would you recommend the reg is in need of a service/replacement (only asking as I have suggested this to someone I know who has had a couple of failures in short succession)?

just wondering as my bottle was used for the masters ,fine, then when i was out a work in the week or something it (1800) must have blown, cos i didnt hear it and my bottle was empty when i got home and looked at it.

you sure its just not leaking??
i had same problem was leaking from around the burst disk bolt cos it wasnt quiet tight enough.
